We should be selling Lacazette. Atletico will be needing to replace Griezmann and have been interested in the past. We should be able to recoup most of what we paid. Then put that money into a wide forward. We need to re-balance the squad.
The problem with that is that we will still need a backup striker and anyone who is half decent will cost >30M, so you would spend most of the money you get for Lacazette and get a worse replacement. If we have to sell, should be Bellerin or Ramsey to my mind (assuming Ozil can't be sold).
We'd have to replace Ramsey and Bellerin too. The money we get for them would largely go to their direct replacements. Lacazette money could go to a different area of the pitch as replacing your number two striker isn't as important as replacing your best midfielder or fullback. Besides Welbeck showed enough towards the end of last season to be counted on for another year. He can leave for free at the end of the year. That's how I'd approach it.
I would keep Lacazette unless his trade can help fund an Mbappe style scoring winger. Goals are precious. You don’t trade goals for fullbacks. He was very strong in the second half of the season.
