Well, they better be well into interview season then. Because ideally they are talking to about 3 candidates to see who would be the best fit for whatever vision they have. Then they need to go through the signing processes with that person (which might include buyouts). All this has to be done with at least a month to go before the summer so that the manager can hit the ground running before transfer season. If we aren't interviewing folks already, Wenger then a) Wenger is our coach next season or b) we have a new manager next season but next season is a wash

I want Lemar this summer. I think he'll do well in a three with Ramsey and a new DM or if needs be Xhaka another year. Two high energy box to box mids with guile (Lemar) and goals (Ramsey) is what we need. Get a proper pressing manager in and we're golden.
Lemar would be good, but we really need an athletic ball winner in midfield before anything else. Ndidi, Fabinho, the guy from Lyon. That has to be the priority.

nope. mkhitaryan fills that versatile/drifting/inverse attacking mid role. if we had perhaps signed malcom in jan, i'd still be interested in lemar. right now if we're signing wide player i'd prefer more traditional winger

How has Youri Tielemans done at Monaco this season? Have had a soft corner for him for a while now - was hoping he would come here last summer.
Average. Rony Lopes has been the best player for Monaco this season, even Lemar is pretty average.
Rony Lopes? Isn't he a MCFC reserve player - out on a loan deal? In any case, wonder if we could Tielemans at a reasonable price if he has had a poor year - would love to have him here - his CL performances for Anderlecht were amazing.
