Whatever happens, QS, Wenger has no excuse to go a 5th transfer window without a top striker. I wouldn't be surprised though if he keeps the same team and somehow ends up with another diminutive playmaker
I think, best case scenario, he's going to embark on a Draxler midfielder to forward conversion project
I'd honestly be happy with Theo and Podolski as strikers if we got a brilliant LW and a brilliant CM to play beside Ramsey.
Podolski is crap up front on his own.
Schar, Laporte and fazio would be worth a look to replace verm
Balotelli will move IMO. It had better be to us. We need to stop our striker slump.
One of Costa/Balotelli in the summer please.
Balotelli has emotional problems and would be a disciplinary liability. Costa is rough but it's an act to provoke the opposition. He stops right before getting a red.
I've said it before but I don't think Balotelli will come back to the Premiership.

Yes, and Balotelli is a lot more talented.
Here's a wild idea. Get them both. Sell Giroud and Podolski, and release Bendtner and Park after that
Linked with Montolivo

Yes please
Excellent player. Think the time to sign him was when he signed for Milan though.
Would be like Wenger. Don't need Two strikers or One striker plus one DM One striker plus one winger
Those are the packages of 2 super quality player that interest me. We need packages that allow us to get the best ROI on Ramsey and Ozil
Personally, I'd be fine with Arteta and Flamini at CM for another year if we spend on a quality striker and a quality direct wide forward who offers a genuine goal threat.

Yes and if you take out penalties Balotelli scores less goals than even Giroud over the last 2 seasons at club level. Just the player we need. Spend 20-30m on a nutcase who has fights in training and less prolific than Maximus.
We should go all out for Costa. Offer him the world.
Has anyone seen a bit of Aubameyang this season? Is he any good? I saw his first few appearences for Dortmund and thought he looked interesting. Should we have gone for him?
Definitely. He has been a revelation. Didn't expect him to be this good

I think I'd prefer Costa. But again you could say it's a matter of putting a player with the talent to be the best in the world at his position (which Balotelli is) and putting him in Arsene Wenger's hands. He would easily outscore Giroud if he had Ozil/Ramsey/etc giving him chances instead of Milan's flotilla of defensive midfielders.
