Sanchez on the right doesn't constantly cut inside.

Gotze isn't really a small technician with no idea how to work off the ball. He's much better than that.

Gotze and cavani would put us over the top, I reckon.

I'd prefer Reus and a couple of others over Gotze, but at this point you just need to remember that
a) we've left this shit late as usual
b) we have only 4 quality players on the squad, so anything that isn't a number 10 or goalkeeper can vastly improve us.

Given that Gotze's good. Cavani's better. The two at once. Nut-busting nirvana.

Fed up of people saying prices are ridiculous, a load of extra money has been pumped into the PL so that means prices are going up, its time for people and Wenger to accept the current reality.

Some of the prices are are ridiculous though, particularly from Man City who probably would have spent the same amount even without the new tv deals. The remaining clubs haven't done anything too extraordinary though - I suspect most of the new tv deal money will end up going in expanding the wage bill more than pushing up transfer fees tbh

no chance in hell eddie cav moves. with ffp falling on its arse, these mega rich clubs have no incentive to sell unless a player throws a tantrum. psg has spent 120m this window and have barely had to recoup any of it

Just came back from watching this PSG-Monaco game. You sit there watching Matuidi and Verratti completely dominate the Monaco midfield. Meanwhile, Ibra is slipping a majestic pass to Cavani for a goal. Then when you think it can't get any better, Di Maria and Lavezzi come off the bench to combine for a sublime goal. Everybody mentioned walks onto our team. This is why Wenger has given up in the transfer market. We are so far behind some teams, he'd rather not bother.
