Chambers? Koscielny? Gabriel?
We 'enquire' as to their availability. If the club says not for sale we back off, if they're an identified target then we ask to be kept advised if the situation changes. If they say they are willing to talk then we gain permission to talk to the player to agree personal terms ahead of starting to negotiate re a fee.
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC

Jesus I'd do some shit to see him in an Arsenal shirt. Whenever I play FIFA v my mates and score a goal with Zlatan Ibrahimovic I walk around the room and shout his name aggressively "Zlatanibrahimovic!" like a pokemon, I'd love to finally do that playing Arsenal.
🙂 :gape: :opti: 😃 😆 😆 😆
jonesy, what's your opinion of Christoph Kramer? Is he good enough for Arsenal?
I know there were a lot of rumours that we were looking at him back in december. I can't say I've watched any Gladbach games recently, but his gegenpressing is pretty outstanding and I remember being impressed by how well he distributed the ball. I'm thinking he could be a better option than Coquelin for us.
A single player can gengenpress?
Gengenpress. Lol.
Loved his distribution in this piece of play:
Goetze, Reus, Koke, Lewandowski, Cavani, Hummels, Martinez, Alaba, Manolas, Marchisio, Alaba, Varane, Gundogan, Felipe Anderson, Laporte..anyone!!
I'd take Alaba twice too.

He's an interesting type of player, sort of like a defensive minded version of Ramsey. Runs for days and defends very aggressively all over the pitch but his distribution and ability on the ball is lacking, overall I'd say his game isn't refined enough and he isn't good enough for us. He's also a very dodgy character, he was loaned by Leverkusen to Gladbach for two seasons (no buy out clause) and gave a number of interviews about how he won't return to his old club if he doesn't feel like it and that he's no slave just because of a signed contract. Then he made several U-turns and ended up at his old club anyway, that kind of arrogance when he was playing in the second tier just two years ago is pretty telling imo.

He's that good!
He is! You would think that Bayern would look to sell one of their central mids now after the Vidal deal. I think I'd take that player regardless of who it is.
They've sold one of their central mids, though.
And Alonso is 106 years old. He will leave next summer.

Don't need a central defender.

Sure we do. Mertesacker is crap and Gabriel unproven. We won't win the pl or cl with Mertesacker in the team.
Mertesacker isn't crap
Gabriel will be first choice by the end of this season

His lack of pace is a massive liability for us when we push up high and his passing/distribution is crap. We'd be a much better side with a proper cb next to Kos.
