Samper is certainly an interesting player. Suppose to be one of the best CMs out of La Masia in years and we've been watching him for years. Good mates with Toral and Bellerin as well. With their youth system being a bit of a mess might be a chance to nab him. €12m release clause, certainly the type of player we should be looking at. He's on tour with the senior squad in America

The vibe I get from him is that he's a real momma's boy; I think his mom is his agent. I'd rather save money on buying these types of players and put everything into signing someone world class like Gotze or Benzema.

I would love to get him and it's not out of the question seeing how they let Deulofeu go. He has the higher rated Sergi Roberto ahead of him in the pecking order and would make sense for him to move.

The chances of getting those two are much smaller than getting Benzema.

I think there is actually a real chance Bayern would entertain selling Alaba - if a big bid comes in.

Let me explain. Alaba doesn't really want to play at left back, and Bayern got a really good season out of Bernat there in the end. In midfield, it is very congested. I'd say Lahm is a sure starter, and I also think Xabi Alonso is. Then there is one spot open, and I'd bet my life on Guardiola preferring his compatriot Alcantara to Alaba. Bayern COULD be open to a sale for a big bid, and Alaba COULD be interested if the plan was to play him in central midfield.

Let's just bloody go for it. Get one of Veratti / Alaba and one of Benzema / Reus and win everything.

In all seriousness, the paucity of top level forwards means teams may find it easier to part with a quality midfielder instead.

I think we could do with one if we aren't getting a World class forward.

Force the issue with Cavani then. Bet £50m would at least make PSG entertain the offer. They pretty much have to sell to buy because of FFP.
