Yeah, I know. I was just using it liberally to refer to the 8 homegrown players we could potentially fill the squad with. It's still a quota that way, even if every position doesn't have to be filled.

Nothing surprises me about Real Madrid's transfer decisions, they sold Di Maria after his best season. Although selling Sergio Ramos would be really really dumb because as you said, he is their most influential player. Ramos wants to extend his contract and there were some rumours that he rejected Real's offer and he is also a Premier League fan. I know I'm clutching at straws here and probably Ramos and Madrid will find some middle ground soon.

Proof, the papers are playing you. Madrid are not selling Ronaldo, Modric, Ramos anytime soon. A lot of the other guys are easily replaceable but not that lot.

Dropping Coq isnt justified, unless we buy a definite upgrade. According to his stats so far, its hard to find a better player.
