We certainly need a central mid more than a CB IMO.
Kos is still class, and Gabriel and Mertesacker can slug it out for a season on who to get the most starts. Chambers is the right sort of player for a fourth choice spot, but he needs a few games at CB next season if he is to develop. That basis is not perfect, but good enough the way I see it.
In midfield though, Flamini is spent, Arteta is aging and has been injured a lot this season, and both Wilshere and Ramsey have missed significant portions of the season due to injuries. Coquelin can't play every game, and we desperately need another player at his level or above.
