Look at their performances over the last 2-3 seasons. Over the last two years since Higuain moved the two have an almost identical goals per game ratio. This despite the Argie supposedly being more of a goalscorer rather than link/target man that Giroud is known as.
The supposed less of a link-up man has more assists and more goals.
We've talked about wanting players who are superior and Higuain certainly is. He can play with or without him.
and Armor posting Cavani not being an improvement on Giroud? Because he's less prolific on the wing?
Same as Henry, Villa or Suarez but they're all average players too right?
Don't get me wrong I'd take Reus with open arms but not sure if he's available this summer or Sterling.
