32 - 35 more likely. Didn't Napoli pay 30m for him just last year? I'd say he's worth it unless we can get Reus or Cavani, both of which are probably unlikely.

Alexis is potentially the perfect center forward. Losing Giroud is a blessing in my opinion, as it stops us from trying to pair the two together. What we need is a better player than Giroud or Sanogoals who can come off the bench and a great left winger.

Higuain is a quality striker. Him with Sanchez on the right would be quality. However don't know what state he's in these days and only problem would be the fact that he's been looking a bit overweight recently.

on price, 40 is a figure I threw out as a way to get a deal done for a player in a problem position. It's not exorbitant in this market, particularly when you look at the rates paid for the very upper end of forwards (50-100% higher than this). A fair valuation is likely _£30m though

I agree Higuain is a bit limited when it comes to skills with the ball but on the other hand he isn't a pure poacher. He used to play on the wing for Madrid in his first 1-2 seasons and he has about 80+ assists in his career.

I'm just wondering what happened to all the bullish talk from the more reliable ITKs a few weeks ago, about the club expecting to sign another couple of top players, one of whom was going to be another elite player over 30m?

As such IF RM is looking at Falcao then IMO there is no reason why we should not be back in for Reus - both are already back playing.

Essentially IF the reports are true that we had a deal in place prior to his injury, then by all accounts Dortmund have already 'replaced' him in their attack in buying both Immobile and Ramos.

LW is such a huge problem for us. Özil is there right now. Previously it was Santi. Should be Podolski, who should be off instead. And all of them have flaws in either being productive, helping us in build up or keeping the defensive shape of the team.

Reus would fix all that for good. Too perfect to be true.

We have Walcott too. I'd rather spend every last dime on class wingers right now.
