That 10m for vela has backfired he could have been an excellent short term replacement for the season.

Need to sign Giuseppe Rossi terrible injury record but still managed 14 goals from 18 league appearances last season. Sanchez can do a job up top but he'll be burnt out by January if we leave him up there every game. If we get 20 appearances out of Rossi it's enough to keep sanchez from burning out. He's after a long wc best not to run him into the ground or he'll break to.

I really like Kalou. He's a very good player. Not sure how quick he is anymore tho ?

I felt Falcao was the third best player in the world when he was at Atletico.
Now, after a relatively disappointing season coupled with a serious injury not to mention the "fake age" scandal, he has been overtaken by a few imo but i would still take him without blinking if he were to be available as he is more powerfully built than Cavani. I also think his "off the ball" movement is second to none in world football and that is one of our team's biggest weakness upfront.

Makes no sense either as it's not like we're lacking numbers in central midfield, it's quality we're missing.

Yup. At this moment in time i would take that Carvalho DM over any striker inferior to Cavani/Falcao.

Wenger will now pretend people only want him to sign a striker because Giroud is injured.

He's so content not to compete its infuriating.

Our new era of spending basically equates to us spending a bit of the new TV money but never enough to really compete.

The Higuain shout is a good one. I wonder if Napoli can afford him without Champions League money. i'm sure they'd be tempted by a 40m pound offer. And then we'd be done.

Fan of Higuain, think he would do really well here with all the service. He scored a good goal against Bilbao in the first leg.

He certainly isn't 40 Million good. We have paid less for Sanchez.
