Another midget in midfield?

That sort of guarantees Giroud a place in the team. Putting a team out with only 2 good headers of the ball in the PL is asking for trouble. Any midfielder that comes in should be at least 6ft tall IMO.

Now that Vermaelen's gone, I hope we pay over the odds (if that is what it takes) to bring in John Stones. He is the sort of ball playing CB we should have at the back. Biggest CB talent to come out of England since Rio Ferdinand IMO.

Will Everton really reject a £20-25m bid? I don't think so.

Eh? Mascherano is superb. He's competitive in the air too. His appetite to win the ball back and he's neat possession play is ideal for us. Can play both CB and in midfield too

Stones is good but has just signed a 5 year deal. Everton ain't gonna sell for anything but big dollar

Also think Chambers is a better prospect than him

Next CM need to be a guy with some height.

We need to have the option of playing size at CM with small players up top.

I don't subscribe to that. There's a danger you end up with a Fellaini.

It's all about adding and energetic disciplined player with good passing range for us
