That Divock Origi fella looks to have a very bright future. He acts like a bit of a show pony right now but his attributes are pretty great; he shoots well, is strong in the air, has very good technique for a big guy, and the boy has pace.

I'd be happy with him as our cheapo striker signing if we also get Sanchez, Schneiderlin, a decent RB and a back up 'keeper.

Yup, not bad at all. Where does Belgium find all these players? It's amazing how talent just decides to brew itself in a nation over a certain period.

If Vermalaen leaves we would need atleast 5 players! and there is no way we are getting more than 4 new players this summer. I have major doubts Wenger has the cojones to spend atleast 60-80 mill needed for 5 quality first team players

I don't think we need five first team players, no.
I'd break the bank for Vidal and Sanchez and a RB.

That's not a lecture! Sorry anyway, functioning on very little sleep due to too much post-midnight football watching.

We don't decide who gets signed and five first teamers certainly won't be, but for fuck's sake we do need them to be guaranteed to compete and I'm disinclined to be happy with less. In short I'm on Cannon's side.

That was a telling off, telling me stuff I already know 🙂
I wasn't suggesting we didn't need to compete.
My point I guess is that I'd take pure quality over just numbers, two great players added to what we have would transform the team.
The bedlam comment was meant in a jokey way.

Same. Seeing our rivals make waves in the market while our manager jollies up in Copacabana is incredibly frustrating.

Think it might have been hearing that a fellow OMT stalwart has started and finished a university degree while Wenger "watches Arsenal burn" (as it were, and rather histrionically) that set me off. 🙂

Need Theo to stay fit as much as Ozil. Its less likely but if we got a whole season out of him it'd make a huge difference.

That said I'd love us to add someone like Sanchez
