My view is that ozil had a great season and doesn't need anyone other than himself to perform. The rest is hot air.

He had a decent season but not great IMO. Still took us up a bit when he played but not as much as he is capable. Wenger needs to work on him in preseason on his composure in front of goal, ffs. Being able to score 8-10 league goals a season makes him a better individual player and makes our attack more dangerous. He has the technique, he just needs to practice constantly. Right now he looks houseboat.

Ideally I'd like an upgrade on giroud but nothing out there seems worthwhile. So play to his strengths and rotate with Walcott and Joel

Add some power and guile to the rest of the team

Ozil was Germany's second best player behind Muller yesterday. Kroos had a pretty awful game and shouldn't have been taking set pieces, and Lahm is just not a midfielder at all. Despite not playing, everything went through Ozil and he provided Germany with width time and again and the same time. Great player.

he didn't have a great season at all. he had a good 3 months, then his form dropped, then he got injured and came back in May. You have low standards if you think that's a great season for someone as gifted as ozil

I liked what he brought to the table

He's a player who looks like he's tossing it off but he makes things happen every game
