If Balotelli has got over his attitude issues he'd certainly be a very good investment. Still no where near his peak as well.

Balotelli doesn't work any less than Giroud or van Persie. He's not Mandzukic but not many are.

He's in turmoil right now, with the circus in Italy about his daughter, etc. If he managed to mature and not poison the dressing room (which are big ifs), he could really flourish.

i dont watch that much hours of football daily outside of arsenal, but even not taking into account his character, does his style of play suit us? is he a direct runner i think we need? most of his videos are about his flicks and tricks while beeing deep, im not sure we are missing this

Balo's a beast physically, he can play any style you want him to play.

Height, pace, power. The whole package, pity he's a nutcase.

Henry may have had a few words with Balotelli last time he met him. Balotelli and Ozil would be lethal upfront.

Agree. In a scenario where he is not a total nutcase he can be unplayable and is as talented as best forwards in the world come these days.

An emotional wreck, A nutcase, A completely unreliable player who has scored less goals than Giroud over the last 2 years. Wenger won't go anywhere near him.

Seems like you don't know Wenger well enough. An immensely talented player with flaws that can lower his transfer value, definitely seems a Wenger signing.

Balotelli is infinitely better than Giroud, so I'd take that. He has everything in his locker, and I think a manager like Wenger could be just what he needs.

Sounds like you don't at all. The only time Wenger has spent that amount of money or more is on a player whose statistically the best at what he does in Europe over the last 5 years not some project player.

I know Wenger well enough to know that he isn't going to spend the amount of money he's only done once to sign a player whose temperament is that suspect and for all his immense talent is outscored by Giroud. His penalty tallies aren't going to do much here with the amount we get.

This is not 2008. We've got a lot more money now. Wenger won't blink an eye if he has to spend 25m on a player he feels is good enough.

I'm not sure Balotelli is that player, but that's not the issue here.

Oh really. Been youtubing balotelli much? Balotelli is signicantly more talented yes but facts are he's scored less in the last 2 years than Giroud, he's a completely unreliable player. Van Persie and others had a bit of a streak but they were nowhere near as mental as this guy. City cut their losses on him and only Milan (The one that sits 31 points behind thanks to this man's efforts in part) were the ones willing to buy. This isn't a 2m punt. This is 25-30m on a wreck with nothing to back it up. A maximum of 13 league goals in his careers. Less Than Giroud over the last years.

On the remote chance he comes good? Mino Raiola is his agent who will be sure to give his client every chance to move on in the hopes of getting a cut on a big deal.

Yes we do have a lot of money now and Wenger might spend more than 25m on a player. If you'd actually read what I was saying was that he'd not do that on a project player. This is a man who refused to stump up more than 22m on a striker who scored nearly a 100 league goals in the last 5 years and was still only 25 then.
