Heard it mentioned in a few different places Lately, so what are people's thoughts on Rio Ferdinand potentially joining on a free this summer?

Homegrown, would brings lots of experience and we'll need another back-up CB if Sagna leaves but, eh... nah.

They mentioned it to him on ITV before the game and he was pretty non-committal about it :confused:

Song should be like plan C or D. Martinez, Schneiderlin and maybe even Bender before i would settle for him. Im not convinced by his ability/willingness to actually sit and work his ass off at DM so Ramsey could shine. He was always too laid back, didnt labour enough and picked up too many yellows from stupid fouls.

I hate when people uses "no, we can't do that! He's been here before!!!!" as an argument. Fine, you don't think he's good enough to be here, but it doesn't matter if he's been here before. And yeah, my wish is totally for Song to take Ramsey's place...

Looks very meh tbh. We need at least two players who can slot right into the team and improve us by quite a bit.
