Get a wing forward, but keep Podolski too. We really don't need to lose any of the squad players. Plus, if Sanogo goes out on loan, Giroud-Podolski should be a decent partnership in theory when chasing games.

Heard it mentioned in a few different places Lately, so what are people's thoughts on Rio Ferdinand potentially joining on a free this summer?

Tbh I don't think we will sign any midfielders this season, so my question should really be: would you rather have him than go into he season with our current options? I think he's better than Flamini and probably Diaby.

Yeah, we'll sign a couple of players, I just hope they are world class and that we sign them before the next season starts.

Unless I'm reading that wrong even if those two stay we are looking at 2/3 players. I'd say that is spot on in terms of what we need. Let's hope we can get some business done before the World Cup rather than leaving it too late

Pretty sure we're looking for additions and not replacements, yes. We have a couple squad places available.

Interesting to see that he hasn't given up on Fabianski signing a new contract yet.

Hard to read into Sagna's comments but Fabianski did say it was his last game so kind of made it clear he was off. Maybe Wenger can persuade him but think it is unlikely. At this stage of his career he needs to be playing week in week out, we obviously prefer Chesney so you can't blame him.

For me it depends. If we can get Schneiderlin or Martinez, then I would obviously prefer that, but if that proves impossible then Song isn't the worst signing we could make. He hasn't played much at Barcelona, but every time he has got minutes in midfield he has been forced to play a much more restricted role. When he plays like that, he is a very good player IMO.

Oh God please no. Song is rubbish and a wanker. I'd much rather keep Arteta.
