Firmino would be a great buy. But we haven't been linked with him at all.

I think Ox will do well to replace Theo until he's back. No need for a winger before we sort out a striker, rb and cdm.

Been watching Hoffenheim a bit for Firmino. He looks class. Great vision, trickery and flair, good pace, proper goal threat. He wouldn't play point here though I reckon, but he can certainly play there.

Benzema, Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani.. Is there another even remotely realistic target that would satisfy most here as our new first choice striker? Rossi might be worth a shot, even with his injuries. Immobile seems to go to Dortmund, or I'd be happy with him. Mandzukic and Jackson Martinez? Not sure about them. Who else are out there?

Balotelli is emotionally unstable . Would you pay huge money for a race car that unexpectedly bumped into rival cars during a race, damaging your chances at success? What if that race car just looked good and had the right manufacturing pedigree to succeed but in actuality has won very few races for the last couple of years? This is a stupid analogy but you get the idea. Balo is neither prolific nor level-headed.

If you want to succeed in Premier League then you either go for Cavani, Benzema or Balotelli this summer, depending on how much money you have. Cavani will cost a truckload but he'll get you 30 league goals. It would be nice to have a bloody tank to demolish any bus the opposition might try to park too. The other two are nutcases with huge potential. Come with a smaller fee but a greater risk.
