I can go along with this. It's a lot of money for us to spend but we have a £60m income increase this year.

It's pretty likely that neither will be available but you never know. I think buying refuse from mega-clubs is a good strategy to get established players at reasonable prices, but you have to be willing to wait and hope that big club politics/spending force the likes of Özil onto the market.

I'll be hoping desperately for Atletico to win La Liga and the CL and for Perez to completely lose his shit and buy Suarez. If Real win the CL we have no chance for Benz IMO.

Are you serious?

Giroud's got 22 and he's been wasteful as fuck.

Benzema is also able to create his own shooting chances, he would get a lot more than 18 goals.

Because any striker would be our main source of goals, and Real's second to Ronaldo.

Giroud has 16 league goals, Benzema has 17 this season in la liga. League goals Benzema would just about get into the 20 league goals a season, if we get him we would need both wide players hitting well into 10-15 league goals a season.

Probably just paving the way for a transfer in 2015, unfortunately. Hard to imagine Dortmund letting him go for no reason.

They won't let go unless a stupid offer comes in, they are losing Lewandowski and the last thing they want now is to lose their best player.

Next summer though that boy is gonna have teams bending over backwards to sign him.

Wonder where he'll go. Reckon Real is out of the picture because Ronaldo. Also Bayern because he seems to really care about Dortmund. City, Chelsea, PSG and Barca will probably want him. We'll ask if he's interested too.

It's very difficult for any striker to score 25+. You're talking Henry, Ronaldo, Suarez levels there. Hard to gaurantee that many goals with any signing.
