Yesterday we werent even in for a midfielder, now we're getting one "extra" for cover and that is a negative, somehow?

As for signing a striker, Wenger is convinced Bendtner and Podolski will cover his needs and Ox will fill in for Theo. Not hoping much on that front. I wouldnt mind Klose ofc.

Not sure Källström is relevant one way or another. Won't cost much, won't play much—a stopgap in the event of our injury situation getting worse.

Still hoping we're going to sign any forward who might contribute a goal or two. Klose isn't what I had in mind but he's better than a poke in the eye.

Have you seen him play? Like, in the last three years?

He won't be anywhere near the team for the most part. This in itself is a big problem if Ramsey is worse off than we originally thought. We should go for a good player who can make a difference, not some dross who had his career peak back in 2005 and has been on steady decline ever since then.

Think I'm going to give up on #DeadlineDay and see what comes out in the wash tomorrow morning Australian time.

The waiting's a bore and these rumours are almost more disillusioning than it would be to wake up to a reality of no signings.

Seriously. He didn't cost much and if we knew Ramsey was out long term he'd have been perfect. Use him with Arteta this season then adapt him to the pivot role for next season.
