Draxler would be an immense signing if we actually pull it off. Ignoring for a moment that it's the wrong player at the wrong time and at an exorbant price, there can be no question of his potential. The mental impact it would have on the rest of the team can't be ignored either. So many of our players have spoken about how signing Özil sent them buzzing weeks before he made his first start. Draxler isn't Özil, fair enough, but he's as high profile as any emerging talent right now. It would be a massive motivational signing and we need it badly, even if it doesn't address many of the issues at hand.
Yep, more than anything he'll be a shot in the arm and a boost to the squad/fans. Can't underestimate the impact that could have. With Ramsey out for awhile and Wilshere's long term concerns, Chamberlain will be getting a lot of games centrally so we could use a wide player.
Agree. The only drawback is that he's injured as well.

A proper wide left player as well for the time being, something we are lacking badly since we ain't playing Poldi.
Not to mention he is going to combine fantastically well with Ozil.
