Btw, we have had money for years.
He changed us last season, towards the end of the season we played as a much more compact unit and it got us good results. Don't forget for the majority of this season we were top as well, didn't get up there by fluke and if he was as useless as being made out we wouldn't of even got top. A combination of injuries, players letting us down and some odd tactics have got us into this position. We had players like Arteta & Giroud whose deficiencies were being masked by other players, once they got injured they got showed up. Even Per has his problems and without Koscielny looks more exposed. That is the managers fault because you can't have passengers in the team who just rely on others to make them look better than they are.
We haven't had money for years, we've had healthy cash balance but as a club been running at a loss.
So basically a naive sense of hope? Gotcha.
Btw, we've had money before, as our bids for top players prove. Wenger also didn't do what was necessary last summer. For whatever reason he isn't able to make the right and necessary signings. He is responsible for our failure. So why anyone still has faith in him is beyond me.
Tactically he has been outmanoeuvred time and time again this season. He has signed plenty of shit players in recent years and our attacking football, which is his so called signature trait, has regressed. The man is past it. It is obvious!
