Let's stop being so unkind to our players. These players all played an important role in keeping us top of the table for three months. Earlier on the season, I bemoaned our lack of rotation. It kept us top for three months but it indicated the squad was too small and now we've either burned them out or broken them. None of our players are out because of tackles. They're all suffering from overuse conditions.
Now were left with the supporting cast in the attacking half of the team. They're not bad players. All are good enough to be on Arsenal - Giroud, Arteta, Flamini, etc. problem is that they need even two more players in the Mert/Ozil/Ramsey class to help hold it all together. Two more such players and we end up with fewer injuries and less volatility in performance.
