It's for the new signings not replacements which will be covered by the previous player presumably.
So Sagna's off meaning his 60-70k a week will be available for a new player without using the 100m though the transfer fee would be.
Bendtner's 50k means we can probably pay 50k of the new strikers wages off that plus the rest.
Vermaelen being sold would probably be like for like with neligible effect on the finances. We get a fee and use that fee. His contract is given to the new player. We might actually save some on the wages because he's apparently on 80-90k a week.
