Yeah no doubt that we are seen as a bit of a laughing stock. New stadium, super manager, millions in the bank while we are still a few players short (nobody can doubt that is what most people think of us) of the real deal. Glaringly obvious missing pieces of the puzzle every season.
Wenger is a genius at making a profit for the club, while getting CL football, that is what they want and need.
What we want and need is a different story. Is he useless? Of course not, just not motivated to win any thing. Yes, he 'wants' to win something but he doesn't 'have' to.
Anyway. No need to jump into his defense ... he will be with us for another 3 seasons at least, FA Cup or not. He and his defenders always get the last laugh.
