I think Mourinho would have shown Wenger more respect, if Wenger had actually managed to beat him in a game. Mourinho is an ass, but Wenger's attempts to pass off his team's failure to win tend to focus on our "lack" of resources compared to teams like Chelsea and how he likes to do things the "right" way and this probably does grate managers like Mourinho and Ferguson, though the former clearly shows it more. I also think he can't fathom how Wenger has maintained a lofty reputation against which others are judged while failing to win anything in almost a decade.

Wenger's lack of resources is self-inflicted. We have put cash in the bank year on year, could that not have been put in the mix over the years?

He prefers going to places with a lot of money and good foundations ready for him with the squad, then as soon as things get a bit rough or he has gone as far as he wants he'll want out, so not suitable for us

We probably could of but it would of just got us deeper into debt, we'd have to pay the extra wages and be losing money from that reserve so our money wouldn't last very long. We also need to maintain a minimum cash balance at all times

Bet we could have spent 30 to 40 mill a year for the past 5 seasons and remained financially stable, even profitable, over that period.

And still only finished 4th every season. What's the point? Keeping a squad of good players together over 3-4 years is what is important, and we weren't able to do that because we couldn't offer top wages.

Maureen has no class really. Wenger is a knob at times, but I am glad that we don't have that Chelsea fecker here at our gaff.

We could and can offer top wages, we choose not to.

Also, most players only left cos they didn't think the club was showing enough ambition in the transfer market.

In many respects he may have actually done us a favor; done Wenger's team talk for him for when we go to the Bridge. Also may give our players that little bit extra motivation to do what I deem as the unthinkable - win the title with Giroud.

Undoubtedly, and that's one of Joes' main criticisms of Wenger- That's he's too safe and secure.
But there are plenty of top clubs around Europe.
They even have a method of deciding which is the best team every year.

Oh I think that we CAN get the title with the squad we have, but why go through all this upset? And there will be plenty of that before this season ends. It would have been a lot easier with a top striker that we could have afforded but chose not to.

Remember I said CAN win it. Not that we will.
