Wenger's myopic view of squad building is doing my head in.
He has failed to address our issues in CM and Up-front and has only been saved on the GK front by the emergence of an acceptable player.
Honestly, he has taken his eye off the ball post 2008 when we started to shed the squad and never addressed any of the issues that most arsenal fans could tell you needed to be dealt with. But Arsene wil ask you a simple question - "how many games have you managed?" - as if that justifies him doing poorly compared to his peers on a similar wage.
Add is the useless work in holding onto players or getting a decent fee and we look like a lame duck in the business of buying a better team in the transfer market. This summer will be no different from the last. We will see one bug player come in, not a CF or a DM, but a wenger luxury like a winger and that will be it.
This squad has been screaming out for a proper CF and DM for 2 years now and will continue to do so for the future. This will likely push players like ramsey and koscielny to leave as they can't be fucked with another capitulation into 3rd or 4th place in the league.
