And that is because he constantly lost the ball which directly resulted in goals for the other team. Don't forget he had that unwanted record of being dispossessed the most in the league that season.
Still had the best tackling and chance creating stats of any Arsenal player. You could accuse him of a lot of things but hiding on the field wasn't one of them. He did a lot of good work. He wasn't great obviously, but he wasn't half as poor as some of you made him out to be either. Not even close to being one of our worst players. There were mitigating circumstances too, such as being a 20 year old kid who had just returned from a career-threatening leg break.
But fuck it, there's no need for this discussion. Everyone can spot a mob when they see one. There was a clear mob mentality forming against Ramsey that season. Only one I can recall who have faced something similar at Arsenal was Eboue.
