Honestly, Shaw has picked up in a big way in the last few months. Right now he is clearly head and shoulders above Baines and everyone else.

World Cup songs have to be catchy, fun, cheerful and/or iconic (like the England 1990 one).

This one sounds like a b track of a take that song.

He's better than Cole and Gibbs anyway. Hard to say with Baines. Would Baines even get set piece duty for England with Gerrard in there? Its pretty much half of Baines game.

Everton fans wanted Oviedo as the first choice LB before his injury. Baines is amazingly overrated due to his set pieces and crosses.

I'd pick Gibbs, Shaw and even Cole over him, but you just know Woy will take Baines.

Baines is quite clearly better than Gibbs and Cole. Really solid defensively, almost Sagna level so. And in attack he's so much better. His crossing is as good as anyone in the league, he can beat his man or overlap to get in those positions. He scores, he assists and yeah he delivers a killer dead ball.

To claim Gibbs or a past it Cashely are better than him exposes a lack of PL knowledge.
