Biggus could tell you how to ensure they finished fourth!
So many players out. Not a good thing.

So so cannot wait for the World Cup
Getting all giddy.
Can't beat it and the atmosphere it creates. Work is buzzing
Me too. World Cup previews:
tonight at 10.35 BBC1, Lineker talks about Brazil's football history with Michael Palin and others. Unfortunately one of the others is Michael Owen.
Then tomorrow 10.35pm there's a live MOTD preview.
X3
Quiz question for y'all: Seven World Cup winners since 1990 who have played for at least two English clubs?
I can think of three... this is a toughie.
Four*
Got two from '98, one from '02 and one from '10. Think that might be the extent of my knowledge...
Come on GF, clue:
There's at least 3 from Arsenal from the 1998 squad!
I can only get 5 though.
Ffs. Missed RP from '98, I only remember him playing at the Euros.
Caved and checked the answers - only had four right. For some reason I'd thought Eric Djemba-Djemba was a Brazilian World Cup winner. 😆
Pires, Vieira, Petit, Djorkaeff, Torres, Mata

😆 Unfortunately Lineker's doing the talking too. I watch the documentary on Beckham and his pals "roughing" it off the beaten track and into the jungle on a pseudo odyssey through Brazil. It was interesting for the people they met as opposed to being interesting to watch their health and safety monitored journey 🙂 Beckham's a nice guy, far more thoughtful than I'd ever given him credit for being but he's a total stress head, not very laid back at all.
I had considered watching that Class of 92 thing just for Beckham as I think he is agreeable, but then the second I saw all those other assholes it turned me off it.
I haven't had to endure it yet, I fear it's imminent. I guess it might be ok to watch n seethe.
Did the class of -92 achieve something worth making a movie about?
One more sleep! Cannot wait for the opening game razzmatazz!!!
Yeah, I think the fever is starting to set in a little now.
From the Grauniad:
You'll probably have heard that Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has inked a new two-year deal with Juventus. Sky Sports News have just strafed viewers with their stat-gun, revealing that the bearded genius has won the ball 11,551 times in the 11,344 minutes he's played for the Seire A side. That's a lot of ball-winning. Spare a thought for the poor sod who had to research that particular gem.
wtf? That makes no sense 😆
"Spare a thought for the poor sod being paid to make up this shit"
