Two 20m+ strikers in 2 successive windows?
Cardiff City have signed former manutd player Magnus Wolff Eikrem from Heerenveen
Defoe expected in toronto this weekend for completing his transfer to MLS
Good signing for Roma but probably not so much for the player himself. Based on their current squad he's not getting in the first XI.
Defoe to Toronto is official.
Spurs surely have to sign a striker if they're going to persist with a 442.
Apparently Michael Bradley is off to Toronto as well. Sherwood should use Lamela up front with Ade.
Xabi Alonso has renewed his contract. Pity.
Is Pirlo going to re-new with Juve or what? Would love to see him at Bayern.

What the heck? Bradley was looking class at Roma. Why would he move there now in his prime?
$$$$$

american players are losers. dempsey went to seattle for no reason, too, and donovan never did anything in europe. no ambition.
the only american players worth a damn are the keepers.
they make enough money in MLS and are able to be in their country of origin. this is what most people in most professions want. to do the job they love close to the people they love
Sob. That was beautiful Claudius. Sob.

Yeah, I don't get this. Several guys clearly have enough in their locker to succeed in the tougher European leagues. Donovan could have played for a top side. Bradley looks like he's ready to make the step up, not down. What's the issue? Why aren't they aiming for Premier League where the culture and the language is so similar anyway? Bradley has honed his skills for years in Germany and Italy already, and just when he enters his prime he goes back to North America?

But Bradley isn't Canadian. He's from New Jersey. That's about as close to Toronto as England is to Spain geographically. You're looking at a nine hour drive at least. It doesn't make sense to move back home for the sake of family and then settle in the wrong country.
What's the average salary for a MLS player? Do they really make that much more than they would in England? I was under the impression that only the top players were earning huge money.
I think there's a wage cap, but each team can have 2 exceptions. These players are generally on massive money. They're the jewels in the crown.
all from memory though, from when Beckham moved, so I may be completely wrong.

Also, Clint Dempsey from rural Texas went to Seattle this summer. Shit is weird.
