I never thought him either fundamentally Scum or Manc. If Wenger assesses that he's got the right attitude to give us more depth in the stiker department then I'd be ok with it. It's not like he be signed as first choice or in the place of a really top striker.
Had I known we were going to sign Özil I wouldn't have turned my nose up at David Villa.
I don't think Berbatov is better than Giroud anymore.
But regardless, he ain't coming on a pittance. Won't come unless he gets 18 month contract minimum and 60k+ a week. Would just be a drain.
Just sign Henry
Berbatov is in London as we speak but that's all i know.

Ozil and Villa don't get along anyway after the clasico red cards.
Berbatov should have been demanded as part of the Van Persie deal. Doesn't make sense that he went to Fulham instead. Doesn't seem worth the bother 2 years later.

Huck dang you've shown volly our resident hipster up
That's apparently Berbatov's official Facebook account and he allegedly posted that link this evening.... Hmmm.
Fulham communications director Sarah Brookes says that the Berbatov Facebook account that posted about a move to Arsenal isn't run by him.
Thank fuck for that.
She also said she was trying to get hold of the person who does run it...
Y va really wants this one to go through, fancies Berba.
Nope. I'm just going with my gut instinct about what's going to happen this transfer window.
I just hope we get someone who can contribute in any meaningful way. Giroud and Bendtner are out for the short term but what if Olly picks up another knock against Spurs? I'm still having nightmares about that time we played Arshavin as centreforward for over two months.
Yep, it's why I think Wenger's going to go for a short term solution. He's said repeatedly recently that we're short up top. As temporary solutions go I think Berbatov's very Wenger.

Shava did well though
Hate watching players who played for those horrible clubs so my memory of him is hazy, nevertheless, is my impression of Berbatov being the type of player whose game doesn't suit Ozil's, completely wrong?
He is another player who wants the ball to feet rather than into space.
