Totally agree with you est. He should score there 9 times out of 10. Especially considering he was totally unmarked and had time to adjust his header from that beautiful cross. I'll be shocked if he manages to get a goal tonight but he really owes us some goals. Especially in the big games.

Tomas is right. It's a good chance, but it's not a sitter.

He should be getting it on target though, not a sitter but he missed a few good chances that match. Big matches are usually settled with the odd chance and Giroud more recently has been missing far too many of them.

That is true, of course. There is a reason why Wenger wanted to go all for a 30 and 40mil striker not that long ago, Giroud will always be a player who puts into the net just a good half of chances he has and that is not good enough.

That chance would be a sitter only if it wasn't from the angle or Giroud was one step quicker.

Fuck that though, just hope he has a good game tonight, needs a great performance to get back on track.

I'm sure you would have raged at Bendtner had he missed that chance. Perhaps it's not a sitter for Giroud but it should be. Those are the chances you have to take in big games.

He's inside the 6 yard box when he connects with the ball. 😐

The angle of the header is shit because he angles his body the wrong way. There's absolutely no excuse to not get that ball on target.

Should have scored, I agree. Just think he did everything he could to put that ball into the net and that it is actually not that easy to do that in full speed when heading the ball.
