Blistering pace to get in behind, or strength to hold up the ball and win aerial challenges. If we're going for a 2nd rate PL striker I'd much rather go for Benteke tbh.
Walcott's got pace, Giroud's got strength.
What we lack for most part is the movement and intelligence upfront. Also, Michu is an excellent finisher and would probably be cheaper than Benteke too.
