Really. Was that before or after we were linked to him?
Finding it hard to picture anyone worse than calamity Senderos and perma-injured Djourou.

He exploded on to the scene, valued at £20M linked with everyone then injuries, family issues and loss of form lead to him been given the end of the season off he was abysmal. So most clubs cooled interest city were signing anyone with a name. I think it was a fluke he turned out decent for them. They were signing everyone and he was available. The fact they got him for 8M when they were being charged double for players speaks volumes.

A move to a bigger club with more pressure could have been the final nail in his coffin at that point.

Real seem to be on the hunt for falcao. If Liverpool don't make the cl and we take the title we could try but Suarez would have to strike to force a move through. Worse case scenario is Chelsea go for him. Mata hazard Oscar Suarez eeek.

Anyone here watch the Championship? Is Jordan Rhodes PL quality? Would he be worth a punt for us in January if other players can't be got?

What's wrong with him, too slow? Bad touch? Looks like a lethal finisher.

We've already got Yaya Sanogo if it's Championship Level players we're looking at.

Whether Liverpool make the CL or not i doubt Suarez will stick around as he is a championship winning player, Liverpool won't be in the position to over him that chance soon. Like we have lost players after finishing 4th they will suffer the same fate.

If we want Suárez badly enough, and he wants us badly enough, it will be very difficult for Liverpool to stop it happening.

Thankfully, he won't want it badly enough.

Wonder if Matthias Ginter would be a good player to pick up. He is playing for a struggling team who concedes too much, which isn't a good thing for a CB/CM, but he is only 19. Looks a promising player and could be a good pick up as fourth choice.
Not that we need another diminutive midfielder, but I'd absolutely love it if we signed Oliver Torres. Kid is destined for stardom.

Wenger on #Mitroglou:"He's fantastic. All the top sides should be tracking him. We're tracking him too"

He would be a great signing.

Would be a high risk signing.

He really wouldn't. Proven in the CL and if he didn't work out he could be sold or 'Chamakh'd' in the summer.

Does proven in the CL means scoring against us when we had CB issues and the mighty anderlecht and montpellier?

The club has significant funds so this man should be nowhere near the top of our list
