He's obviously not a top European player that would displace an in-form Giroud, but he fits our style and is available for the right price. I would love a huge signing at striker but I don't think it's realistic if Giroud continues to play well. We just need another reliable, clinical striker in the squad.

This is plain wrong. Of course if players aren't available you can't do a thing but if players are then it's another matter. We seem stocked in midfield with great talent but was Ozil a luxury. You don't pass out on chances to sign the top talent in the world. Suarez has banged in 6 playing 4 league games. If he's available you buy him. If RVP was available you buy him.

I'd get Piszczek as well if Sagna leaves. He's boss going forward. We have needed a full-back like him for years now. Sagna is a beast defensively, but has always been meh going forward. Gibbs has got technique, skill, pace, trickery, but he lacks the vision and awareness to really hurt teams in the final 3rd - dunno whether he'll ever develop that side of his game.

Our full-backs have held us back for years IMO. Our attack will considerably improve with a top quality attack minded full-back in our team. Almost all other top clubs have got at least one fullback who is fundamental and a major contributor to the team's forward play; Marcelo, contrao (Real madrid), Alves (Barca), Evra, Rafael (Man United), Lichtsteiner (Juve), Lahm, Alaba (Bayern), Piszczek (Dortmund), Juanfran (Atletico) etc Cashley was the last fullback we had of that ilk.

Selling Rafael would be impressively stupid. I thought he was the best RB in the league last season.

Koke. Don't care if he's not exactly what we need, just get him signed. Hard to find play makers like him who are willing to work their bollocks off for the team. He'll be able to do Arteta's role with some work/experience.

Tactics

Get Gundogan for the Arteta role. He's got more defensive nous than Koke (brilliant little player though).

I hope Wenger takes a look at Max Meyer before he becomes too mainstream. Nailed on to be a star IMO.

Gundogan is not a defensive midfielder and it would be a waste in the same vein as playing Ramsey there.

Just get a natural player like Lars Bender in.

Everybody is saying Flamini is having a good season, but remember when we were linked with Barry and some people laughed so hard at it?(including me) He is having an equally good if not better season for Everton.

My choice for the midfield position is Schneiderlin. Perfect for us. Outshone Wanyama all season long as well.
