Liverpool will not finish top four. They have way too many holes in their side.

Thats my take too. Spurs have had a great summer tbf. I can see the top 4 being very tight maybe even the top 5/6.
City have the best squad in the league. They won't get chucked out with Pellegrini in charge. Chelsea have too much quality and too much money. United will just sign someone in january. Herrera perhaps? I have to say I'm glad that they fucked that one up. He's exactly what they need.
As fans we focus far too much on shiny new signings. Yes we could do with a few more quality players, but we're in a remarkably good position and it takes years to build what we have.
Too early to talk about this but if I'm having a stab at the dark, I'd say we might challenge for the title with Man City and Chelsea, and Man Utd will finish 4th. So no change. But Tottenham look good too and are a level above Liverpool and Everton.
I made the same mistake as GF and co. Poll is ruined.
Yeah ok, my bad. I'll fix it up in a bit so the question doesn't lead you all up the path.
Edit: just got rid of it.
United to finish out of top 3.
Think it all comes down to how soon Moyes can steady the Man U ship. Will be the 'usual' top 4, with possibly Spurs getting in. If they do, then my guess right now would be that Man U is the team to slip out. Rather unlikely though, since Man U have a much better squad.
Despite Maureen having difficulties finding a formula that works for him, they are very close to us. Reckon it will be a mighty fight for the title between Chelsea and Man City, and hopefully we are in that mix as well.
Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Carrick, RvP are all 30 and above. Fergie left a winning team but a team that had peaked. IMO UTD would need quite a bit of fresh blood to be competitive at the top level over the next 3-4 years.
30 isn't old really. The only one of the persons you mention who looks well past it is Ferdinand. Think even he will be alright if restricted to one game a week. As for new blood - every team needs a couple of players each year, and Man U isn't an exception.
Fergie left plenty of youth too. Wellbeck, Smalling, Jones, De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Fabio, Cleverly, Nani, Kagawa, Buttner, Zaha, etc All early to mid 20s. Squads need to have balance.
before the season began, i figured chelsea, man city, arsenal, united for the top 4. i think it'll be between spurs and united for 4th, with liverpool following closely behind. i said at the end of last season that we could expect liverpool to do well this season based on their goal differential - they should've won more points than they did.
the key is whether moyes makes the adjustments and how bad soldado sucks. gun to my head, i think the soldado transfer costs spurs a chance to break into the top 4. seems inexplicable to me that they had one shot at a 30m striker and soldado is who they came away with.
I hope Everton dislodge Chelsea out of the top 4. Oh how fun that'd be. Lol.

If Everton were to kick anyone out of the 4 I'd much prefer it was United.
If United do end up outisde the top 4 it'll probably only be for a season. There will be no real changing of the guard unless we see another takeover by a Mansour/Abromivich type. Thats just how the game works.
Yep, would be like Everton in 2005 all over again. Got 4th, then bombed the following season. The team dropping out would invest heavily too.
Aslong as we're inside the top 4 and Spurs isnt is enough for me still.
Although it would be seriously funny if Chelsea or United dont get there in the end. But i think they have way too much firepower to underachieve for a whole season.
I would worry about us more than the rest. This season looks different because our players are so confident. But our test will come if we lose a game badly by an underpar performance. Wenger's teams in recent years always go on a bad sequence of results at some point during the season which puts paid to any chances we have of winning anything. I'll wait and see , we are just as likely to go on a bad run as Man U / Chelsea going on a great run of games.
