Going by video compilations and his goals per game stats throughout his career he does seem like the type of player you can find dozens of just in the PL. Granted other than those two things I have nothing else to base this on.
Whilst YouTube videos are not a true reflection of a players quality, his very low goals outputs seem to be a bit disconcerting when you consider we need someone to either do what Giroud does but better (ie hold up play and bring others in) or score a lot to make up for Giroud's lack of goals (which from a quick look through Wikipedia seems unlikely given that he's only ever scored 20 goals in a season once and that was back in 05 or something).
If he's all we get then I'd be thoroughly underwhelmed but it'd still be better than nothing as there's no way he can be worse than a treatment table bound Walcott and TGSTEL. If we don't get anything else a loan is fine but if it's a permanent deal then I'll probably pull my hair out.
