and after all.... you're my gundogan....
he's a very good player but we really have no need for him. reus combines much better than theo does, he "gets it" and has better shooting technique. theo is faster. reus is one tier below world class.

I think both are at the same level
He'd be a luxury unless he can play the 9. Would love him on the team but our focus now has to be upgrading the 9.
51m pounds for Falcao this summer was only 9m pounds more than our outrageous capture of Ozil. If we do not lose any of our key players, next summer would be well spent if we follow a similar one large capture strategy and go for the best available no. 9. Not sure who it will be at that point - Lewandowski (free), Benteke, El Sharaawy, Martinez, Suarez. Who knows.
We should go all out in January of convincing Lewandowski that we are a better fit for him than Bayern is.
That's not going to happen though, is it?
Let's face it, Bayern is the biggest club in world football at the moment. They've just won the treble. No sane footballer would pass on the chance to join such a team, especially one that would be a certain starter for them. Much like Cesc had his heart set on joining Barca, even though Real is one of the biggest and most historic clubs in the world and they would have offered him more money(the boyhood/DNA-talk is just a convenient excuse).
we should try. ugly guys have gone out with hot girls and Falcao ended up in Monaco. he can't sign with Bayern until next summer but he can sign with us this winter. Woijech needs to get on the case
Sure, we should at least enquire, but it looks very unlikely.
He is allowed to talk to non-domestic clubs in January right, but has to wait until his contract is up before he can speak to Bayern directly?
All I am saying is that with the team we have now - playing here must seem pretty good. A striker playing with Cazorla and Özil WILL get plenty of chances to score. Not at all so sure Bayern are THAT keen either, or will be next summer is probably more correct. Lewandowski doesn't strike me as a Guardiola player at all.
People should stop saying we should go after Lewandowski, cos he's clearly got an agreement with Bayern.
Holy shit balls! We gettin lewandowski?
I can't believe it! You better have a good source on this, Tim.
Got my info from this guy;

I heard Klaus knows Mr X quite well. Mr X has probably been talking to his contacts in Germany. Case closed i'd say.

Damn. I don't remember writing it but it definitely sounds like me...
Hotly rumoured: an attacking player of a certain nationality is going to move from one club in one country to another club in the same country. Money and trophies are reportedly the motive.
Holy cow! Sources, Burnsy?
wenger has said he's still planning to bring in new players, in his sunderland presser. roll on january.

Wenger has become a transfer muppet.
trying to think if any top striker would move in jan. if lewandowski wasn't seemingly locked down by bayern, he'd be the most obvious choice.
Rooney might be agitating
