Regarding Pedro - we can't clog up the squad if we also realistically intend to give enough games to the likes of AOC, Gnabry and to some extent Wilshere. Pedro is a good player, but IMO he won't significantly improve us for warranting signing him. If we are buying another wide player it better be someone better, or someone with great potential. I am thinking Reus and Draxler bracket here.

He is playing in the bundesliga now and has scored against bayern and dortmund, he can't be that shit. Plus we have a centreback and a CF who spent most of their careers in second division football, no need to de-rate him due to where he HAS played.

Looking at what he has done this year I have no problems with an experienced 28 year old striker with pace, dribbling, heading, passing, and finishing. He won't stop us bringing in a top top player in the future.

I'd rather sign a player who can come in now and we can replace further down the line. Also, whne we signed Cazorla how old was he?

Cazorla had done the business in La Liga for half a decade or so.

Ramos is never going to start for Arsenal, that much is obvious when you've seen him play.

As Klaus touched upon, it's not just a matter of upside in terms of years he could contribute; it's about the uncertainty about how good he is versus his potential upside. His age makes so that his potential upside isn't high enough to justify the uncertainty surrounding what his true level is. You gamble young, you don't gamble old.

Graham Hunter has said that we're looking at Koke and Costa and that Costa could be a possibility due to Atletico's debt. He also said that we've been looking at Sergio Ramos, too.
