I didn't see it myself but I heard that not a word was spoken, nor a look exchanged between them, when Benzema was replacing Giroud the other night.

Somehow I don't think Giroud will do a Per and actively encourage Benzema to come here

He was such a special talent. I just cant understand how he never lived up to his potential with rolemodels and mates like robinho and ronaldinho.
I'd take him we need a different type of striker like him as on option, and he's brazilian we need one of those asap.

Not sure what his wages are like, but for ten million or less, Pato seems a no brainer to me. Definitely worth a punt at that price and considering our complete lack of strikers.

I think the fact that it's a WC year and he's still got an outside chance of making the squad means it's less likely he'll move back to Europe in January.

He's having a great season but he's not the kind of player we should be looking at. He's where Giroud was when we bought him. We need to do one better.

He's a really fun player to watch, fantastic close control and dribbling. Has been a winger for most of his career but he's playing through the middle for Torino this season and has 8 goals in 11 matches.

Don't think he's the type of player we need though.
