Supposedly Wenger wanted him to go to United over City. Or so Fergie claims in his book.
Anyway, we've been over it a million times.
Sure, he's only human and ultimately it's just exchanging one job for a better one where you get paid more and get more recognition.
But I know how I feel about his actions - from his professed love of Arsenal, to his ingratitude towards us for sticking with him during his injury-ravaged years, to his two-faced open letter trying to control the fans' reaction to his departure, his demand to move to United, and his suck-ups to that club and its manager - and how I feel isn't going to change without some pretty telling new data.
For what it's worth, I've felt similarly about certain colleagues / people in my industry over the years. Some people know how to get ahead gracefully.
