I don't think it matters much where he plays. There are a handful of people in the entire world who can win you a football game on their own, week in and week out. Özil is one of them. If you have a chance in hell of signing them you have to do it. This is absolutely massive.

I am impressed we showed the balls to get this deal done. Arsenal proved me wrong.

It takes a lot for me to rate a player past the hyperbole bs but Ozil is the real deal.

Ever since I saw him play for Bremen four years ago I was immediately impressed. Reminded me of Zidane.

Shame we could not sign Ba though as then I would be really confident ahead of this season.

No, you're absolutely right that we need more to win the league.

But.

This is a signing that will make the whole of Europe take notice. Seriously stunned, I wouldn't have expected the likes of PSG or United to sign him never mind us.
