Can't believe what? He worked on a tight budget while the likes of Chelsea and man City blew millions on players. During that time he kept us in the champions league. Our stadium crippled us during this time, we didn't have a billionaire to bail us out, look at Liverpool and Spurs in recent years, what has their spending achieved? Only exist because of those backing them. No stadium and no champions league football, we've finished higher and achieved both. We are a self sufficient club who has got here without any outside help, that is something to be proud of. Look at the help Spurs are getting from their council and look at how we got fucking shafted by Islington and then the credit crunch hit meaning we didn't make the money we thought we could. Recent years I'll agree some decisions have been scandalous but thanks to him and the club we are in this position. Next year we'll be up with Bayern in terms of turnover.
The problem is partially the fans, people these days expect everything at whatever cost. Who cares if we have to sell out chasing glory. Fuck that, we aren't fucking Chelsea, we got here ourselves and I'm proud of that.
