Wonder if a midfield pairing of Montolivo-Poli could work. Probably the only two central midfielders they have capable of playing progressive football.

Tactics

They play Honda and Robinho out wide + Balotelli upfront, can't see them getting away with a Montolivio- Poli midfield.

De jong is a decent passer, better than Flamini who regularly starts for us.

I don't dislike De Jong, but Milan clearly need to find a way to get more creativity into the side. None of their wide players are particularly consistent.

My gut feeling is that De Jong will be a regular. He's a bit of an embarrassment as a footballer but their only shot at climbing in the table is to play the best individual lineup possible, and that means that Montolivo, Honda, Robinho, Kaka and Balotelli have to be in there. Which in return means that they need a pure defensive specialist to balance the team a little.

Milan sure have their work cut out for the summer. Their entire squad is a weird mix of pieces that don't really fit together.

Tactics

Well they've got a faux playmaker (Kaka) as their nr. 10, think they are probably better off playing on the counter.

Full-backs should contribute too. Was disappointed with De Sciglio last night, always liked what I saw of him.

Roma have been less gung ho tonight, they've clearly learned from their defeat away to Juve recently.

I know what you mean but any year you win the title even if it's 'just' the title only is considered a successful year. Juve just become victim of their own success. Mind you I was very surprised they got eliminated from the CL so early. They should try sign someone like Dzeko in the next transfer window.

And see how Roma have played their best sides in the Italian Cup? Now if they don't win the league at least they have back up trophy. So we should take FA Cup very seriously this season for same reason.

I'm not a big fan of Conte. Winning Serie A with the squad that he has and the lack of competition in Serie A isn't very impressive. Juve have been very lack luster in Europe, haven't managed to win the Coppa Italia, and also play some of the worst football imaginable. Should go for Prandelli the minute he's done with the national team.

Considering this was his first managerial job and Juve were a sleeping giant before he joined he has done extremely well. The only negative point in his Juve career was this years CL. How long did it take Wenger to sort us out in Europe when he first came over?

Also, going back to Conte, winning the league undefeated cannot be underestimated either.

Juggling the Premier League and Champions League is a lot harder than the current Serie A and the Champions League. Before this season started everyone expected Juve to really focus on Europe this season and go far in the competition. Guardiola pretty much said the exact same thing when asked about Bayern's main rivals this season.

My point was more that you always want to improve upon your previous success, and they now have no way to do that.
