Like 30 minutes. Really can't see him starting this match. Fancy a Barca win. Atleti really struggle to create, looked poor in attack for four or five matches before the break and continued that vs Malaga last weekend. Barca looked vulnerable on set pieces/crosses vs Elche and Getafe though, always a chance Atleti could nick a goal and frustrate Barca.

A lot of their matches are like that to be honest. Simeone is quite overrated IMO. He's created an organized side and brought respect/stability to club that's been underachieving for years but I'm not sure he's going to be able to take them to the next level, especially considering they have to sell their best players every summer.
Atleti have a great track record with strikers though, so there's hope.
Anyone who can take a side ahead of Real Madrid and toe to toe with Barcelona after half a season deserves huge credit IMO. In the end it is a Don Quixotic battle though.
It's not just this season. I cannot think of many managers who could have done better than he has.

Hope Atletico win this match. They are congesting the centre of the pitch and leaving the flanks open, knowing full well Barca can't really hurt from those areas.

Both teams playing as expected, not a particularly interesting match tactically. Villa and Costa basically playing as midfielders when Barca establish possession. Alba has done much better than last time he played Costa. This match will be won from the bench and only Barca has the resources to do that. As I said before, last 10-15 minutes key.
