It's a cup competition and united have shown they can fluke things in the past. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they win it.

But Alf asked us to imagine us losing FA Cup, finishing fourth, United winning CL and Liverpool winning the PL. That's what I was talking about.
I really do think you'd have to be a misery to see that as being genuinely on the cards, sure it's within the realms of what could happen, but there's no way you could say that all four of those results together are very likely.

Unfancied teams can win this cup. Remember that this is all they have to play for on a team full of winners, and with many players who'd fancy a farewell trophy.
