I just hope their confidence will be good enough to get something from the game on Tuesday.
The quality wasn't all that, but at least they looked like Man U tonight; they went into the game and didn't look terrified of failure. None of the cagey 'make sure we don't concede' crap they have played for much of the season. They came into the game and had a proper go right away. If they can keep that approach midweek I reckon they can get a result.
Giggs was bloody brilliant with his long passes tonight. First for Rooney's header against the post, second for the penalty, and third to Rooney who played Judas in for the second goal.
