No. It's nothing to do with favourites and he's not really one of mine. In fact, I think I'm tending more towards the Biggus view at the moment. It wasn't a great penalty but it was on target and the keeper saved it. It does actually happen sometimes. If Neuer goes the other way, or lower or doesn't leave 1 arm back then it's in and we're not having this discussion. But sometimes you do have to give a goalkeeper some credit for making the save too. If he'd put it in the stands like some of those United penalties against Sunderland then it would be a lot harder to forgive.

And as Capi said, you get used to these things when you support England.

If the keeper doesn't save it all the talk would be about how cool Ozil was in slotting home a penalty in such a calm even arrogant manner. Funny how thin the line is sometimes.

Huntelaar is a weird player. I wonder if he could have been something with a better manager early on. You think he's just a run of the mill poacher but I've seen him score too many goals like this. There has to be some quality in there.

Hate Huntelaar. At one point a couple of years ago he thought he was better than RVP and a lot of people in Holland strangely felt the same way. Well and truly put to bed in 2012.

Having Ronaldo and Bale on the flanks is cheating. Imagine had they kept Özil to go with them. Not like Isco has done anything. Had a couple of good games at the beginning and has been benched since.

Thought Isco would have an impressive season, he started in incredible form and then didn't have much games ever since Ancelotti found the right balance to the team. No coincidence after Isco is dropped Modric became their most important midfielder.

That Huntelaar goal is simply fantastic. Looks like he just tore all his frustration into the strike. Still rate him as a player, whenever he went, his goals ratio are always incredible so you can't fault him for that. Good striker.

Lol, you Ozil haters just don't realise HOW good he is, you can't see the bigger picture of his actions on the pitch.

Ozil didn't miss the penalty, it went EXACTLY how he wanted it to go. By missing the penalty we came under pressure and lost, Flamini's performances was then questioned on OMITT leading to a thread being created on the subject. This was all too much for Biggus who ended up being banned after lashing out. Ozil, without anyone even suspecting what he's doing, has managed to get rid of his single biggest critic. He's a genius.
