Not exactly the same team, and there were other dynamics at work there also- Madrid is a special case a bit like Utd not suited to every managers style.
I've always said that that Ancelotti is a master tactician too.....Not that thats saying anything that isn't obvious.

The final if it is to be between Ancelotti and Mourinho's side will be a fascinating chess match.

Ancelotti's superior to José and it's pretty much the same team.
Certainly not different enough to explain how José conspired to allow them to be absolutely annihilated over the two legs.

Ancelotti is more dynamic, much like Ferguson. Jose is a bit of a one trick pony.
